Registration fee structure for the annual conference

  1. The registration fee is divided into VIRTUAL conference fee and PHYSICAL conference fee.
  2. All participants must pay the VIRTUAL conference fee which is collected by ICEB Home Office. Only those who attend the conference phycially on site must pay the PHYSICAL conference fee, which is collected by the local host.
  3. The early-bird registration fee for the virtual conference is fixed at US$50 for regular member and US$40 for student member. These fees will be submitted to home office at the end of the conference.
  4. The above registration fee includes annual membership fee of US$20 for regular member or US$10 for student member covering the coming one year. The membership list will be posted on the conference website this year and next year for verification.
  5. The registration fee also includes a fixed conference service fee of US$30 which covers the cost of the paper review process, program schedule, ZOOM meeting service, honoraria for online keynote speakers, and a zip file of papers, among others. We have structured the membership fee and the conference service fee as low as possible to attract more participants.
  6. The phyical conference host should design the fee by adding up the costs of registration packet (with program book, USB disk, name tags, etc.), keynote speakers, meeting space, facilities, 2-3 dinners, 3-4 lunches, 6-8 coffee breaks, tours, etc.
  7. The early-bird registration fee for the physical conference should be no more than: Regular member up to US$500; Student member up to US$300. (To set up the fees, please consider coneference location according to United Nation's Human Development Index adopted by AIS membership rate.)
  8. Non-member must pay 43% more of registration fees. That is, members are receiving 30% off the non-member registration fees according to AIS contract.
  9. There are two periods of registration process: Early-bird and Late/On-site registrations. The late/on-site registration should pay US$50 extra late fee.
  10. In addition to an electronic copy of the informal conference proceedings, the regular registration fee includes 1 welcome reception, 5-6 coffee breaks, 3 lunches, 2 formal dinners, and 1 half-day industry visit. Dinner event tickets should be available for purchase to students or guests. Participants without any paper may register as guests at discount rate per person and enjoy all the meal functions and the half-day site visit.
  11. Each paper must have one author registered at the regular rate; if all authors on the paper are students, then student rate can be applied.
  12. Each registration is entitled for one paper presentation only. Co-authors could join virtually to present the paper.
  13. Each author can only register for and present up to three papers; the fourth paper will be rejected automatically.
  14. There is no page limit and thus no extra-page charge for each paper.
  15. ICEB Proceedings Book will be published after the conference before January of the following year. It will be indexed by EI and Scopus and also available at AIS eLibrary. To maintain this status, each paper must pay the publication fee of US$200 to be included in the proceedings book. This fee is to support the editorial office for the communication and production effort to maintain the quality and indexes of the book.
  16. One half-day industry tour is free to all registered physical participants. Cultural tours on the last day are optional and local tour companies could be arranged to handle them.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for your support to ICEB and hope you could join us in future Conferences.

Sincerely yours,
Eldon Li
