ICEB Officer Duties
|
- Advisory Council:
Unlike the International Committee
who focuses on promoting annual conference and changes its members year
by year, the Advisory Council gives long-term commitment to the organization
and consists of distinguished scholars. The Advisory Council plays
an honorary role that provides guidance and effort in making the ICEB grow
and excel. An Annual Council Meeting, including members of the Executive
Board, shall be held during the ICEB Conference and the Chair of the Advisory
Council shall be elected annually during this meeting. The transition
of Chair position shall take place at the end of the Council Meeting.
The elected Chair shall serve as a member of the Executive Board.
A Council member may provide written proxy and comments to the Executive Director
for issues that need a voting action by the Council. In addition to the
Annual Council Meeting, Council members may initiate or be solicited input
to the ICEB Executive Board. The Council members shall serve a term of
two years, with the terms of one-half of the Members staggered.
